Church Health Survey
Helpmate Technology Solutions has partnered
with the folks at Church Central to bring you the Church Health Survey.
The Church Health Survey is a 160-item questionnaire that can help you as a
church leader to determine the overall level of church health for your
congregation.
Since your church is a body of
believers, it is crucial to know the attitudes, beliefs and perceptions of
your people. This survey is
designed to be completed by individuals who attend your church.
The results of the survey reveal the health of your church in 6 key areas:
worship, evangelism,
discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and prayer. Included with the
survey results are suggestions on how to improve in areas of your strengths
and weaknesses. |

So what is "church health"?
"Church health recognizes that local
fellowships of believers are best instruments for the Kingdom when the six
purposes of Acts 2:42-47 are intentional, active, and balanced: worship,
evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and prayer."

So exactly what is involved in
administering the Church Health Survey?

Purchasing the survey
The Church Health Survey can be purchased from Helpmate Technology
Solutions by calling our toll-free sales line at 888-858-3247.
The Church Health Survey is available at a base price of $245.
This includes 60 surveys. Additional surveys are available at
$2/each. It is recommended that the number of surveys
distributed be at least 15% of your church's average adult weekly
worship attendance.
EXAMPLE:
Let's suppose your weekly worship services are averaging 1000
adults. You would want to include at least 150 people in your
survey (15% of 1000 is 150). Pricing for 150 surveys would be
$245 (for the first 60 surveys) plus $180 (for the additional 90
surveys at 2$/each), for a total of $425.

Distributing the survey to your people
Once you receive the Church Health survey
questionnaires and survey forms from Helpmate Technology Solutions,
you will then distribute these to your people. It is best to
have people complete the survey in a group setting where everyone
can hear the instructions and ask questions. If necessary, it is OK
for members to take the surveys home to complete them, but please
request that they do not seek input from others. If you allow
members to take the survey at home, urge them to return the survey
response form within 72 hours of taking it home. We recommend
that you make certain that a good variety of ages and tenures at the
church are represented in the survey.

Survey results compiled and analysis report generated
Once the surveys are completed, you will then
mail these back to Helpmate Technology Solutions. The results
will be processed and mailed back to you within 10 business days.
Included with the results is a Church Health Analysis Report.
