"I keep
celebrating our purchase of the Church Helpmate software.
It has exceeded our expectations in
every way. For twenty years we used an
Awfully Complicated
System that was not user friendly and very
expensive to maintain. It was
continually in need of updates which had to be purchased in addition to
the monthly fee, and in order to expand the capabilities required adding
expensive modules to the system.
Not so with Helpmate.
The price is reasonable (actually a
bargain considering the features). In
fact, the software and tech support are less expensive than one year of
service for the other system. We are
able to use the software on our network and if needed, on home
computers, without extra charges. Different
staff members are able to access different areas of the program at the
same time so that work does not pile up. Also,
updates are provided as part of Helpmate's service.
Speaking of tech support, it is
available at various levels so we only need to purchase the kind and
amount of support we need. The staff
makes communication easy, even for the computer impaired such as myself.
They are friendly, professional and
patient.
All of this and I still haven't gotten
to the best part, the software. Helpmate
is easy to learn and use. Novice
volunteers are easily trained to specific tasks.
Office
staff has all of the data and methods of retrieving it that they can
use. If there is a problem or question,
a click on the help menu or if desperate, a call to tech support
provides the necessary information efficiently and simply.
I recommend any church interested in
purchasing or replacing software make a comparison of Helpmate with any
other. Value, ease of use and available
support will convince them Helpmate is the way to go. Thank
you Church Helpmate. We finally have a
software that works for us - instead of making us work to use it.
